What the labels mean
- Manga canonAdapts the manga.
- MixedPart manga story, part anime-only scenes. Our sources disagree on it, so we keep it in the watch order.
- Anime canonNot from the manga, but based on an official novel or spin-off and fits the story.
- FillerAnime-only story you can skip without missing anything.
How we decide what is filler
Fans argue about filler, so we use a fixed rule. Every episode is checked against two independent sources: the show's fan wiki, which lists the manga chapters each episode adapts, and an episode list from Wikipedia. An episode is filler only when both agree it is anime-original. If they disagree, it is mixed and stays in the watch order. Our arc verdicts (watch, optional, skip) are opinions, and we say so. More about our method.
Is it safe to skip filler?
Yes. Filler never changes the main story, because the manga, which the anime follows, does not include it. Some filler arcs are still fun, so each show page lists the filler worth watching.
